Hi! I’m Courtney Bowden, I specialize in marketing, communications, special events and social media. I enjoy being (surprise!) social and of service, finding solutions and making experiences, events, logistics and activities as fun (and easy) as possible! Think of me as the friend you call when you need recommendations, advice or help. That’s what I’m here for, to share my knowledge and experience! After all, we are “busier” than ever and who has time to start from scratch?

That’s how this business began, after more than ten (+plus… shhhh) years in the marine and sport-fishing industry I noticed a trend of growing phone calls and requests for advice and assistance with events, tournaments and recommendations. Each person noting “I was told, you are the one to contact about….” And so, Contact Courtney Consulting, LLC was (organically) formed in 2014 through ‘word of mouth’ referral. I made it official and haven’t looked back. My best decision was investing in myself.

A little on how I operate:

I believe in progress over perfection. Getting things done timely. Organization. And above all, communication (with both clients, participants - and well, everyone) is paramount. I operate events and marketing plans by designing the desired outcome through the vantage point of the end user (client, guest, participant) and we work together to make that vision a reality.

I am a native Florida girl, born and raised in the panhandle of the Gulf Coast. I bleed salt water and sunshine! After graduating from Florida State University (Go Noles), I moved to beautiful North Palm Beach and fell in love with the Atlantic Coast, trips to the Bahamas and having the Florida Keys within close driving distance. For the past 15 years I have worked in different areas of the marine and sport-fishing industry. From boat and engine manufacturers & dealers to tackle companies and commodities, with the majority of my career focused on directing Sport-Fishing Tournaments. We, collectively, have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars through these events for local non-profits and have created (incredible) relationships with all the participants, vendors and sponsors, which allows me to offer (the best) services available to you in South Florida, Costa Rica, USVI, Bahamas and more.  

I live a full and beautiful life doing exciting things I love. And along the way… one of the most valuable things I have learned is that everything is better when it is shared! Let me share my experience and expertise with you. Ready?!
